1. Introduction & Overview
Wudmod Technologies (“Wudmod”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our modular furniture manufacturers, modular kitchen studios, interior design businesses, and their end customers.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and safeguard information when you use the Wudmod Operating System, website (app.wudmod.com), APIs, and mobile floor scanning interfaces. This policy is formulated in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011 of India, and Google API Services User Data Policies.
2. Information We Collect
A. Business & Account Information
When registering an account or configuring company settings, we collect your name, business email address, contact phone number, company name, operational address, business entity type, and GSTIN / PAN details for tax invoicing.
B. Operational Workspace & Production Data
In the ordinary course of operating your modular workflow, you may upload end-customer names, project site addresses, 3D CAD/SketchUp renders, 2D floor plans, Bill of Materials (BOM), sheet cut-lists, factory QR job card milestones, and milestone payment records.
C. Device, Log & Telemetry Data
We automatically log IP addresses, browser user-agents, device models, operating systems, session timestamps, and system performance metrics to ensure platform security and prevent unauthorized multi-device access.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Providing, maintaining, and enhancing the Wudmod Operating System and factory QR tracking.
- Executing automated client WhatsApp milestone alerts upon scanning job cards on CNC, edge-banding, and assembly stations.
- Calculating accurate plywood sheet optimization, hardware costing, and generating 100% Indian GST-compliant invoices.
- Processing subscription billing through our authorized gateway partner, Razorpay.
- Providing technical customer support and resolving workshop workflow queries.
- Enforcing security safeguards and detecting fraudulent or unauthorized logins.
4. Payment Information & Razorpay Security
PCI-DSS Level 1 Encrypted Payment Vault
We partner with Razorpay Software Private Limited to process all subscription payments, renewals, and invoice transactions. Razorpay is a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest security qualification in the payment industry.
- Zero Raw Card Storage: Wudmod never collects, stores, or transmits full 16-digit card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates, Net Banking passwords, or UPI MPINs.
- Tokenization: Transactions utilize secure tokenization compliant with RBI card-on-file guidelines.
- Encrypted Communications: All billing communication between your browser, Wudmod, and Razorpay is protected with TLS 1.3 encryption.
5. Third-Party Disclosures & Integrations
No Sale of Data: Wudmod does not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal or business data to data brokers, advertisers, or third parties under any circumstances.
We only share data with essential infrastructure service providers who are contractually bound by stringent non-disclosure and data protection agreements:
- Razorpay: For secure subscription and payment processing.
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Supabase / Cloudflare): For enterprise-grade encrypted hosting, database storage, and CDN acceleration.
- Meta / WhatsApp Cloud API: To deliver transactional milestone updates to your clients when authorized by your workspace settings.
- Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Only when strictly required by applicable Indian statutory law, court subpoena, or governmental mandate.
6. Data Protection & Security Architecture
256-Bit AES Encryption
All customer databases, CAD files, and quotations are encrypted at rest with military-grade AES-256.
TLS 1.3 In-Transit
All network traffic is enforced over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 protocol and HSTS headers.
Role-Based Access Control
Granular permission controls allow you to restrict designer, factory operator, and accountant accesses.
Automated Backups
Continuous encrypted snapshots with disaster recovery failover across geographically isolated cloud zones.
8. Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023 & GDPR
You and your authorized organization have the following statutory rights:
- Right to Access: Request a complete copy of all personal and company data stored within your workspace.
- Right to Rectification: Update or correct inaccurate business details directly in Settings or via support.
- Right to Data Portability: Export all leads, production BOMs, cut-lists, and GST invoice summaries in CSV/JSON/PDF formats.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request permanent deletion of your account data upon subscription termination.
9. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain your workspace records for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel your account, you have a 30-day grace window to export all archives. After 30 days, operational data is permanently purged from production databases, except where retention of financial tax invoices is mandated by Indian GST and statutory accounting laws.
